Learning Promoting Unit

Learning is a process through which an individual changes his or her behaviour as a direct or indirect result of concrete experience. The cycle of continuous learning is facilitated when new concrete experiences and reflection are built on already existing knowledge and skills, which have been acquired during basic education. In other words, learning is the maintenance and upgrading of knowledge skills and attitudes of health workers to empower them with the ability to produce the results they really want. This process continues for the entire duration of their professional life. Through continuous learning, the health personnel become more productive and have greater job satisfaction.
