MINISTRY OF HEALTH - Pharmaceutical Services

The Mission of Pharmaceutical Services of the Ministry of Health is to safeguard the right of the Cypriot citizens and visitors of Cyprus access to high quality safe and effective pharmaceutical and cosmetic products.
The Pharmaceutical Services in an effort to streamline the delivery and improvement of services offered set as basic principles for all functions performed, transparency, professionalism, objectivity, immediate response and responsibility.

The main responsibilities of Pharmaceutical Services include:

1. Harmonization with the acquis. Pension Bills to harmonize national legislation with the Acquis Communautaire.

2. Implementing legislation for Medicines, Drugs, Cosmetics and Occupation Pharmacist.
