Areas of Public Health Promotion/ Prevention and Continuous Professional Development





Strategic Goals
Our strategic goals are structured around:

· Quality Management
Ensuring Continuous Improvement of Quality Nursing and Midwifery Care, Development of Clinical Guidelines, Audit and Development of Nursing and Midwifery Policy.

· Human Resource Management
Management of Permanent and Temporary Personnel (General Nurses/Midwives, Mental Health Nurses, and Health Visitors) and for the personnel which have been seconded to the State Health Services Organization concerning all administrative purposes according to the relative laws. Ensuring Continuous Education and Professional Development of Nursing and Midwifery Personnel, Clinical Placement of Nursing Students in collaboration with Universities, Clinical Education and Student Guidance.

· Management and Development of Services and Programs for Health Promotion, Prevention, Harm Reduction and Screening Tests
Provision of health promotion, prevention, harm reduction and population screening services through the functions and programs of the Administration.

· Participation and contribution to National Strategies and Committees related to public health
The Nursing Service Administration contributes within the framework of strategic planning, the implementation of Action Plans and the execution of Programs in the field of Public Health Policy, in coordination with relevant departments and services.
