European Community Health Indicators

Information and statistical data regarding the indicators of the European Union may be found at the following website of the European Commission. Many of these indicators include data for Cyprus, which allow comparisons between our country and other countries. It is noted that, prior to interpretation of any differences between countries, a careful study of the explanatory notes (metadata), which are cited for each indicator and for particular countries, is important. For some indicators, there is no data for Cyprus yet. The Health Monitoring Unit of the Ministry of Health is working for the production of the missing indicators. European Community Health Indicators
