If the marketing authorisation holder wishes to withdraw the marketing authorisation of a medicinal product (e.g. for commercial reasons), then he/she must submit the relevant application to the Medicines Council in the required format.
In the event of an objection, the Medicines Council will contact the applicant within 30 days.
