We can never be completely certain about the future, either in science, or in everyday life. Even when there is strong evidence that something will happen, there will almost always be some uncertainty about the outcome. But by taking account of this uncertainty, we often can make better, more transparent decisions about things that may affect what happens.

Can you help us? The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and the Cyprus State General Laboratory are running a survey to help them improve how they communicate and explain the scientific uncertainties related to there assessments.

Take the survey now (available in English, French, German, Greek, Romanian, Spanish) - The survey should take about 10 minutes.
