Workshop: "Microbial Resistance to Antibiotics: A Modern Threat", Nicosia, 15 November 2017

The Cyprus Consumer Association, in the framework of its actions to inform consumers, is co-organizing with the University of Cyprus, the European University, the State General Laboratory and the Pancyprian Union of Chemists a workshop on "Microbial Resistance to Antibiotics: A Modern Threat".

The workshop will be held on the 15th November 2017 at 09.00 at the premises of the University of Cyprus, (Panepistimiopolis, Senate Council-Senate Anastasios G. Leventis, Room B108).

The conference is organized in the framework of the public awareness campaign, by the Cyprus Consumers’ Association and the European Consumers' Organization (BEUC), on the issue of Microbial Resistance and the development and spread of resistant microbes due to the excessive and often unjustified use of antibiotics both in humans and animals.
