The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and its partners in EU Member States are today launching the third edition of the #EUChooseSafeFood campaign. #EUChooseSafeFood aims to help European citizens make informed decisions about their food choices. The launch of the #EUChooseSafeFood campaign is the starting point for initiatives that will be rolled out at an EU level and nationally in 16 countries across Europe. Targeted activities and events will be launched by national Governments and food safety authorities across the EU for their national audiences. Cyprus joins for 2nd year #EUChooseSafeFood campaign with European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) to help consumers learn about food safety also highlighting the role of European scientists who work together to safeguard consumers from risks related to food. This year consumers will be able to learn, among others, about food allergens, food supplements and foodborne diseases, and, to keep making informed decisions when it comes to food.
