The meeting was  organized by the SGL that participates in the Cyprus Food Safety (FSC) and was held at the Elysium Hotel in Paphos on the 4th December 2012, under the Auspices of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU.
 
The meeting brought  together the Heads of the  European Food Safety Agencies, where, regulatory matters, uncertainties in risk assessment and the role of risk managers as well as other specific issues of common interest in food safety were discussed. The sharing of information and knowledge among these Authorities gives an added value to problem solving and promotes closer cooperation  and integrated action in food safety issues.
