The Cyprus Medical Devices Competent Authority is the designated and supervisory authority for the Notified Bodies based in the Republic of Cyprus, responsible for enforcing the requirements of Regulations (EU) 2017/745 and 2017/746.

Notified Bodies are independent organizations for the assessment of the conformity of medical devices. All Notified Bodies for medical devices are published on the European Commission website.

In Cyprus there is only one Notified Body for medical devices (HTCert).
